The Great River Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) came into being September 1, 2002. The three former regions merged into this new region: the Christian Church (DOC) in Arkansas, the Christian Church (DOC) in Louisiana, and the Christian Church (DOC) in Mississippi.

We have active youth, women, men's events as well as regional assemblies and various shared minitries among our congregations. We work closely with congregations and clergy at times of joy and times of concern.
